Studying Effectively for the CPA Exam

February 17, 2012

Studying effectively for the CPA exam requires a game plan. Is important that one creates a study schedule of how they plan to tackle the CPA study material.

If you go through a cpa review course you should take notes in a structured manner. First of all, read one chapter at a time and take notes on the important topics that you think you will need to memorize at a later date. When you’ve finished reading a chapter and making notes you should then complete the multiple-choice questions. With a red marker you can make notes of the questions that you were not able to answer. You will have to go back and review these questions at a later time.

It is important that you only use the practice questions at the end of each chapter. Do not use the CPA practice exams until you have reviewed the CPA study material twice. After reading the chapter only once you will not be ready for the simulation questions.

The Medical Industry: Nursing Care

February 5, 2012

The Bible and the Environment: Towards a Critical Ecological Biblical ...In the medical industry, nursing is one profession which has increasingly been in demand. As a consequence, more and more students are enrolling for nursing in college. The nursing theories developed by different theorists have contributed a lot to the development of nursing, both as a practice and as a profession. Each theorist has a different view regarding the nursing practice. To illustrate, the theorist in the Environmental Theory supports the view that the recovery of the patient is greatly influenced by his environment. This simply means that the cleaner is the patient’s environment, including the air and water, the higher is the chance that he will recover fast. In other theories, however, different views are supported. For example, the Theory of Comfort says that the recovery of the patient is influenced by the kind of comfort provided to him by medical professionals. If you want to study other theories, you may research them over the Web.

Finding the Real Meaning of Life’s Mediocrity

January 31, 2012

Question: I am having trouble finding meaning to my life. I just work at a job I hate. And whenever I left past jobs I hate I end up at another one. I am not good at many things. But I seem to have some talent in writing, psychology, and understanding of some eastern philosopy. I am not sure what to do with my life. I have never left this country or even the east coast. I am starting to get restless staying in one place for too long. How do I get my life together? I have seen women going back to school and I was wondering if that’s what’s lacking in my life? I really didn’t finish college because I decided to work after highschool.

Answer: You should first think about what you like to do. The big issue with that is sometimes what you like isn’t always a big money maker. However if you’re the kind of girl that likes to make sure that what she does is what she wants to do like me, whether it’s cooking or playing the electric guitar, you should go to college or somewhere where you can learn how to do that on a career scale level.

Use this time to take classes that will allow you to get farther in life and go to a group counseling on people that deal with depression and mental challenges to allow you to air your problems safely. I also think you should travel. It helped me find out who I was. Try going to a rainbow gathering. It’s a large group of people in the woods living in harmony with nature in a peaceful way.

And to begin wit all this I’m saying, how about you already start applying for some grants like psychology scholarships for women for instance? It wouldn’t hurt to try you know.
